Position Overview: We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Level 2) to support the design of small components and assemblies for sensor electronic electromechanical and precision optical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with early-career experience who have strong proficiency in CAD tools and relevant design exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop small components and assemblies using CAD software
Support engineering efforts for sensor electronic electromechanical or optical systems
Create and modify 3D models drawings and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production needs
Apply engineering fundamentals to meet design requirements and timelines
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience
Proficiency in Siemens NX
High experience with at least one CAD platform: SolidWorks CATIA or Creo
Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Exposure to design for production or production line support
Basic knowledge of shock vibration or stress analysis
Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience
Proficiency in Siemens NX
High experience with at least one CAD platform: SolidWorks CATIA or Creo
Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations
Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Exposure to design for production or production line support
Basic knowledge of shock vibration or stress analysis
