Mechanical Assembler

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Clearwater Florida for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will perform hands-on mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment using hand tools engineering drawings and detailed work instructions.

• 1 year of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Understanding of CCA and mechanical assembly processes and production flow.

• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings diagrams specifications and detailed work instructions.

• Proficiency using hand tools.

• Strong manual dexterity.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work accurately in a production environment.

• Previous aerospace defense automotive or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.

• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing or assembly problems.

• Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment.

• Experience with SAP Solumina or similar manufacturing systems.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Outlook.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and established manufacturing processes.

• Assemble components in accordance with drawings diagrams specifications and work instructions.

• Support CCA and mechanical assembly production activities.

• Follow established production flow and quality requirements.

• Identify assembly issues and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.

• Use computerized manufacturing systems to support production activities.

• Learn and apply new tools equipment processes and technical requirements as needed.

• Collaborate with production and manufacturing team members to meet schedule and quality objectives.

• Weekend overtime may be available.

• $20.00$25.00 per hour.
