Job Summary

Description

Assemblers are responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process
  • Report on issues malfunctions or defective parts

  • Must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity (skill in performing tasks with hands)
  • Ability to read instructions represented in manuals drawings schematics etc. and follow them with precision and follow established procedures
  • Ability in using tools and machines
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
  • Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment
  • Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Position may require bending kneeling and stooping
  • Previous experience working in the metal manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Exposed to shop elements such as noise dust odors oil and chemicals
