Mechanical Assembler

FieldBridge is looking for a Mechanical Assembler in Houston TX to work for a worldwide provider of equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling and production operations. We offer weekly pay benefits.

Pay is $20.82 - $25.24/hour MondayFriday 6:00 AM2:30 PM Weekly pay every Friday OT available during the week and occasional weekends At $25.24/hr and 50 hrs/week earn weekly paychecks of $1388.20 gross.

Important Notes: This is a temp/contract assignment (approx. 35 months) with no possibility of conversion to full-time. All interviews are conducted in-person and candidates must have immediate availability to start if selected.

Position Overview
FieldBridge is hiring a Mechanical Assembler to join a fast-paced warehouse/shop floor team in Houston. This role is responsible for assembling parts and subassemblies into finished products using hand tools machines and automated equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented safety-conscious and comfortable reading blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components by fastening parts and subassemblies to produce finished products
• Read and interpret schematics blueprints and assembly instructions
• Position and align parts and subassemblies manually or using hoists/templates
• Perform quality control checks and verify specifications by measuring completed components
• Troubleshoot assembly problems and notify supervisor for additional resources as needed

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to read assembly blueprints in English
• Previous assembly experience highly preferred
• Ability to pass a drug screen background check and physical
• Willing and able to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Adaptable and willing to be cross-trained
