Mechanical and Electrical Machine Maintenance Technician

Are you skilled in both mechanical and electrical systems Join us as a Mechanical and Electrical Machine Maintenance Technician where your technical expertise will keep critical machinery running smoothly.

In this role you will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment by inspecting troubleshooting and evaluating to identify root causes of problems. You will disassemble machines repair or replace broken parts and adjust functional components as needed. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 2:30pm to 10:30pm with a competitive hourly pay rate plus shift differential.

• PAY RATE: $27/hr $1/hr shift differential

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection troubleshooting and root cause evaluation.
• Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts.
• Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary.
• Clean and lubricate parts order replacement parts and inspect completed repairs.
• Adapt procedures techniques tools materials and equipment to meet special needs.
• Serve as a resource to others in resolving complex problems and issues.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• Minimum of 2 years prior machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding of complex machinery.
• Experience using basic hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of machine tools and their use.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years prior machine maintenance experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills preferred.
• Ability to follow diagrams schematics manuals instructions and engineering specifications preferred.
