Holtmeier Construction is seeking a heavyequipment mechanic to join our fast-paced utility aggregate crushing andquarry teams. It is crucial that we maintain our equipment to the utmoststandards possible. It is necessary that our equipment is reliable andefficient for our crews in the field.

Skills & Qualifications:

Competencyin maintaining and repairing various types of construction equipment and trucks.

Valid drivers licensea commercial drivers license is preferred.

Attention to safety ofself and others at all times.

Excellent attendancearriving to work prepared for the day.

Willingness to listenlearn and communicate with others.

Being able to askquestions and work together as a team

Be able to rundiagnostic tools

Having your own set oftools is preferred not required

Treat equipment toolsand peers with respect at all times.

Must have the ability topass a physical exam and drug test.

A day in the life as a Mechanic at Holtmeier:

In this position you arepart of a team performing repairs and maintenance on trucks and equipment in the shop and on the jobsite. A mechanicsupports our team with preventative maintenance and repairs on variousconstruction equipment such as trucks trailers dozers skid-steers excavatorsloaders etc.; maintain records for each piece of equipment communicate andparticipate in the decision-making regarding repairs and parts.

Benefits & Compensation- Holtmeier Construction offers health insurance andretirement packages. Pay is based on qualifications. We generally work 10 hoursper day during busy season and an occasional Saturday conditional on thecircumstances.
