Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Mechanic Quality Control Technician with experience in aerial equipment heavy-duty trucks construction equipment or related industries.

This position is responsible for inspecting testing troubleshooting and validating equipment to ensure products meet company quality safety performance and customer requirements prior to delivery.

Essential Duties:

• Perform visual mechanical operational and dielectric inspections on completed units.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to verify safety performance and compliance standards.
• Document inspection results test data and quality findings.
• Identify troubleshoot and assist in resolving quality and warranty-related issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics technical manuals and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations.
• Investigate customer quality concerns and support corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
• Collaborate with service and management teams to improve product quality and reliability.
• Prepare equipment for customer delivery.
• Attend required safety meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with heavy equipment aerial devices commercial trucks diesel equipment agricultural equipment or related mechanical systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic electrical mechanical and diesel systems.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Valid drivers license required. CDL a plus
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must provide personal hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail organization and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand walk bend kneel crouch climb and work on elevated platforms throughout the workday.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work around noise dust fumes and moving equipment.
• Ability to safely perform duties while working at heights.
