Summary:

Primary responsibility is to perform vehicle troubleshooting repair and maintenance work on chassis and track mounted aerials digger derricks cranes high rail and other equipment in accordance with dealer and factory standards in the field.

• PMs maintenance and repair on truck-mounted utility equipment such as Boom Bucket Diggers Dump Service Forestry and aerial cranes and other truck mounted equipment.
• Technicians work on truck chassis diesel hydraulics diagnostics electrical etc.
• Monday to Friday Day - shift with overtime as needed limited Saturdays.
• Must hold a valid drivers license and mechanics tools.

Job Duties:

• Assess diagnose repair and/or replace damaged / worn parts on a variety of vocational / utility trucks & equipment.
• Provide repair and maintenance to medium / heavy duty trucks and background in hydraulics and electrical is a plus.
• Assess diagnose repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts for variety of manufacturers of utility equipment to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts services and labor to track costs so vehicles can be properly priced and reflect the value of quality offered by the company.
• Submit all work/repair orders as required to a supervisor for approval to ensure budgets are maintained and costs of vehicle repairs accurately reflected.
• Perform all duties in accordance with best practices for a safe work environment.
• Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Skills:

• Experience with diesel medium or heavy truck or related equipment. (construction farm military)
• General mechanical aptitude / knowledge of hydraulic electrical construction farm or truck
• Basic Computer skills and ability to document repair activity.

Preferred Skills:

• Electrical schematic / blueprints hydraulic welding and related experience
• Experience with Quick Serve DTNA or related diagnostic software.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Related experience. (Shop Tech)
• You must hold a valid drivers license.
• You must have your own tools.
