MDDO Pediatrician

PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced mission-minded Pediatrician (0.6 FTE) to join our compassionate team in Florence a scenic coastal town centrally located on the Oregon Coast. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys mentoring collaborative care and helping shape pediatric services in a rural community setting.

Position Highlights

• Primarily outpatient practice with 3 flexible clinic days/week (8-hour shifts)
• 120150 on-call days/year supporting low-acuity birth center
• Opportunity to mentor primary care teams and help build out pediatric ER support
• Work closely with a collaborative care team including Integrated Behavioral Health Specialist Social Worker Diabetic Educator Care Management RN Palliative Care & Womens Health Wound Care Scribe Service (DAX)

Qualifications

• M.D. D.O. or foreign equivalent
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited U.S. Pediatric Residency or RCPSC-accredited Canadian Pediatric Residency
• Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Certification in BLS ACLS or PALS within 30 days of hire
• Experience in mentoring and interest in rural pediatric care development preferred
