What Youll Do:
As a Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) Counselor you will provide high-quality community-based and mobile care to all individuals by providing resources and connections to better meet their needs along with follow-up case management.
- De-escalate and support callers to determine current needs.
- Manage incoming crisis calls and documentation.
- Collaborate and facilitate consultation with internal and external service providers and other team members to determine individuals need.
- Assist in training of new staff and interns.
- Navigates individuals through the process of getting connected to the services identified by the MCI crisis clinician and making the appropriate referral.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all individuals served who have accessed crisis services ensuring individuals are being followed throughout the process to resources and services within BHN and the community.
Who You Are:
- BA Degree in Psychology Counseling or related field (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the mental health field (preferred)
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for community-based service delivery (required)
- Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations in a culturally responsive and empathetic manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative setting

Pay: $22.00-24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 20 Hours - Friday and Saturday 10:00pm-8:00am
