Job Summary
Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Program troubleshoot and support manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment tooling and process-related issues to minimize downtime and support production needs.
- Communicate with Engineers and Operations to support activities from concept development through production implementation.
- Assist in the design fabrication installation and maintenance of tooling fixtures and production equipment.
- Create update and maintain standard work instructions process documentation and manufacturing procedures.
- Assist with process validation activities and support the successful implementation of new or changed manufacturing processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety quality productivity cost reduction and waste elimination.
- Train production employees on new equipment processes tooling fixtures and work instructions.
- Support production launches process changes engineering trials and equipment runoff activities.
- Collect information document issues and communicate findings to engineering production quality and maintenance teams.
- Assist with CNC manufacturing support and demonstrate a willingness to learn CAD/CAM software to help support CNC programming activities.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean organized and professional work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across departments.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and comfort working directly with manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to safely use power tools hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting problem-solving and root cause thinking skills.
- Team player with the ability to work well with Engineering Production Quality Maintenance and Operations personnel.
- Willingness to learn new technologies equipment software and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions technical documentation and basic engineering drawings preferred.
- Experience with robotics automation CNC equipment CAD/CAM software or manufacturing process improvement is beneficial.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- A combination of education technical training and/or relevant work experience equivalent to two (2) years will also be considered.
- Technical degree certification or coursework in Manufacturing Technology Industrial Technology Engineering Technology Robotics CNC Machining or a related field is a plus.
