Job Description:
The MB Assembler is responsible for assembling cabinet components and finished products according to company quality standards production schedules and safety requirements. Team members work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using hand tools power tools machinery and assembly equipment to produce high-quality kitchen and bath cabinetry.
- Assemble cabinet components doors drawers and related products according to specifications.
- Read and follow work instructions production orders and quality standards.
- Operate hand tools power tools and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Identify and report material defects equipment issues and quality concerns.
- Maintain production goals and support team productivity objectives.
- Follow all safety policies procedures and housekeeping requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
- Assist with material handling packaging and other production-related duties as assigned.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing assembly or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math and measurement skills preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
- Frequent bending twisting reaching pushing and pulling.
- Ability to lift carry and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise dust and varying temperatures.
