MATERIALS SUPERVISOR - 3RD SHIFTAbout Voltava:At Voltava people power everything we do. Together we are Building A Better the Role:The Materials Supervisor is responsible for leading material flow inventory control shipping and receiving activities to ensure materials are available when and where they are needed to support production. This role maintains accurate inventory levels coordinates material movement supports supplier and logistics activities and drives improvements that optimize efficiency reduce excess inventory and prevent production Materials Supervisor also plays a key role in new product launches by supporting plant readiness material systems floor layouts and the implementation of processes needed for a successful launch. This position works closely with production purchasing tooling suppliers logistics and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve company and customer You Will Do:Lead shipping receiving and material handling activities to support safe and efficient accurate inventory and material transactions using QAD and other ERP/MRP Min/Max Kanban and MRP systems to ensure uninterrupted inventory levels while reducing excess obsolete and end-of-life receiving material returns tooling shipments and resolution of shipping or inventory with suppliers carriers purchasing tooling and production teams to resolve material issues and maintain delivery new product launches through material planning plant readiness layouts storage and system improvements in material flow plant organization 5S inventory accuracy and overall risks and opportunities solve problems and implement practical a safe organized and customer-focused work You Need To Be Successful:Must be willing to work 3rd in materials inventory logistics shipping/receiving or production control in a manufacturing with ERP/MRP Kanban Min/Max or other material management analytical organizational and problem-solving to prioritize multiple projects and respond effectively in a fast-paced communication and collaboration skills with internal teams suppliers and logistics with Microsoft Office particularly of material flow inventory control and plant leading teams or coordinating cross-functional to safety continuous improvement and customer Points If You Have:QAD MfgPro or GM MGO manufacturing or new product launch of IATF 16949 and customer-specific Manufacturing or 5S with tooling logistics or supplier experience or :Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of advanced schooling and/or work of Experience: 3 years of experience and demonstrated success in Business Materials Management or Supply Chain Mgt/LogisticsTravel:NoneWhat We Offer:We believe our team members are our greatest investment which is why we offer a competitive total rewards package designed to support you at every stage of your career and life.
