Materials Specialist

• Perform daily work assignments accurately timely and safely.
• Manage inventory using the FEFO basis: picking stocking verifying and delivering materials as needed.
• Accurately pick pack ship and document orders to meet customer fulfillment requirements.
• Manage work orders including printing picking staging and closing upon completion.
• Support various processes such as column crating and lab materials replenishment.
• Communicate and resolve PO-related issues promptly.
• Maintain zero shipping errors and inventory variances.
• Monitor and document shipment issues such as damage or breakage.
• Participate in weekly QA audits and complete all required training.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in shipping or material operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Wisconsin drivers license.
• Proven ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g. handheld scanners forklifts pallet jacks).
• Cold storage material handling experience.
• Pharmaceutical or food manufacturing/processing experience.
• Knowledge of computerized inventory management systems JD Edwards preferred.
• Prior DOT and IATA training.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and MS Teams.
