Job Title: Materials Specialist/ Buyer/ Supply Chain

Location: Cleveland OH 44109

Duration: 18 Months

Shift: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a Materials Specialist / Buyer / Supply Chain professional to support purchasing and supply chain operations. The role will be responsible for processing requisitions managing purchase orders handling urgent purchasing needs and resolving credit-related issues to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and route them for appropriate approval.
• Place and manage rush orders as needed.
• Review and close open purchase orders.
• Resolve credit hold issues and coordinate with relevant departments and vendors.
• Support day-to-day purchasing and supply chain activities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and order records.
• Communicate with internal departments and suppliers regarding orders approvals and purchasing issues.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field from an accredited institution OR
• Associates degree in Business Finance or a related field from an accredited institution AND 3 years of related experience OR
• 6 years of experience as a Buyer in lieu of a degree.
• Physical Environment
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine work in a purchasing/supply chain environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
