JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Materials Management Associate I supports basic materials handling inventory control shipping/receiving and restocking activities. This entry-level role works under close supervision and follows clearly defined procedures to ensure timely and accurate material flow in support of laboratory production and operational needs.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $21/hr. - 29.65/hr.

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receive inspect label and store incoming materials in designated locations ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
  • Operate equipment essential to job duties including forklifts electric jacks cherry pickers and other machinery specific to the site.
  • Place goods in designated storage areas and restock lab supplies as needed.
  • Fulfill internal material requests and deliver materials to appropriate locations.
  • Support basic inventory transactions and data entry in SAP/EWM.
  • Assist with packaging and preparing outbound shipments including compliance with DOT and IATA hazardous materials regulations.
  • Accurately document receipt storage and shipment records.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP guidelines standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety requirements.
  • Escalate inventory discrepancies damaged goods or other issues per escalation protocols.
  • Engage in cross-training and continuous skill development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED and 1 year of relevant experience; or associate degree in logistics business or related field.
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and accurate data entry skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in warehouse or material handling role.
  • Exposure to SAP EWM or other ERP systems.
  • Experience in GMP or biotech environment.

The base pay for this position is

$14.85 $29.65/hour

In specific locations the pay range may vary from the range posted.
