Description:
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Working under general supervision this role is actively involved in material movements in a warehouse environment. Duties may include loading trailers unloading trailers processing receiving and put away cycle counting de-crating picking KTE carts and may use material handling equipment such as forklifts and stretch wrappers. Working to pick orders efficiently and correctly for daily shipments to customers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understands material movement/inventory levels and completes timely processing of assigned tasks.
- Performs material movements both physically and systematically conducted within a controlled environment where ESD controls may exist.
- Processes stock transfers material requests and put-away. Loads and/or unloads trucks as required.
- May operate material handling equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks or other equipment with appropriate training and/or certification. May drive cut-away box truck to move material between buildings with appropriate training.
- May assist and train associates with on the job training.
- Understands and uses the ERP system for material management activity. Utilizes root cause analysis to research material movement and resolve discrepancies.
- Performs cycle counting
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives which include warehouse material flow systems and procedures
- Seeks efficiency in system and process gaps and elevates awareness to management
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration. Promotes a positive work environment.
- Participate in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes corporate policies safety procedures GMP ISO Standards as defined by supervisor.
- Adheres to all environmental health and safety SOPs equipment policies and procedures including any department specific requirements. Serves on safety quality and other committees if applicable.
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations other regulatory requirements Company policies operating procedures processes and task assignments.

Education
Education Level Major/Field of Study or Equivalent
- High School Diploma / GED

- Forklift certification preferred

- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft office tools including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Multitasks prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
- Ability to frequently sit stand walk reach within hands and arms length stoop kneel and crouch.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to handle and lift up to 50 lbs as needed for specific job functions
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Needs to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
Minimum 2 years Experience of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred
