Material Handler

Job Summary

As a Night Shift Material Handler you will help keep production and warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. You will operate material handling equipment support bulk and dock operations investigate inventory discrepancies monitor equipment performance and help identify improvements. This role also includes basic equipment maintenance accurate recordkeeping sanitation and teamwork. You may assist with moving trailers in the yard using a yard truck (yard dog) as assigned.

Job Details

• Compensation: $24 per hour

• Job Site Location: Tremonton Utah

• Shift: 4:00 pm 4:00 am

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; 2-2-3 rotating schedule with every other weekend off

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate and support material handling bulk and dock operations to meet daily production goals.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies using WMS systems reports and data; assist with corrective actions.

• Identify document and help resolve equipment issues affecting safety quality efficiency and uptime.

• Perform assigned basic or autonomous maintenance tasks and participate in preventive maintenance activities.

• Maintain accurate production and performance records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Follow food safety quality sanitation and workplace safety procedures.

• Rotate between bulk and dock teams including moving trailers with a yard truck when assigned and qualified.

• Assist with training teammates special projects and other plant duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Intermediate mechanical aptitude and ability to learn material handling equipment.

• Ability to use WMS computer systems review reports and troubleshoot inventory or process issues.

• Basic math and computer skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions communicate clearly in written and spoken English and work effectively with others.

• Strong problem-solving skills dependability and a safety-first attitude.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently stand during a 12-hour shift.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending twisting reaching gripping pushing and pulling.

• Ability to work in hot or humid conditions and as required on ladders at heights up to 30 feet or in confined spaces.

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

12 years of manufacturing or related experience is a plus.

Experience with warehouse operations inventory systems or material handling equipment is helpful.
