Material Handler

The Material Handler II is responsible for the safe accurate and efficient movement storage and tracking of materials within a warehouse and production environment. This role supports daily manufacturing and supply chain operations by ensuring materials are received organized delivered and inventoried in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an MRP/ERP environment operating material handling equipment and maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting production schedules and shipping activities.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Review production schedules pull raw materials and deliver materials to designated workstations.
• Verify incoming materials for quantity and quality requirements; perform receiving transactions in the ERP system and properly store inventory.
• Maintain accurate organization and storage of raw materials and inventory.
• Perform routine inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and Production teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Pick pack and prepare products for outbound shipments.
• Transport materials and finished goods between departments using hand trucks forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain organized finished goods inventory and storage areas.
• Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to move products and materials throughout the facility.
• Follow all company safety quality and operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse organization and inventory management.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an MRP/ERP environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in picking packing shipping receiving and inventory control.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately complete inventory and system transactions.
• Basic computer proficiency.

• Forklift certification preferred (training provided if needed).
• Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping software.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

• Frequently required to stand walk hear and use hands for handling feeling and manipulating objects.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms lift lower push and pull materials.
