Job Summary
The Material Handler II is responsible for the safe accurate and efficient movement storage and tracking of materials within a warehouse and production environment. This role supports daily manufacturing and supply chain operations by ensuring materials are received organized delivered and inventoried in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an MRP/ERP environment operating material handling equipment and maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting production schedules and shipping activities.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Review production schedules pull raw materials and deliver materials to designated workstations.
- Verify incoming materials for quantity and quality requirements; perform receiving transactions in the ERP system and properly store inventory.
- Maintain accurate organization and storage of raw materials and inventory.
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Collaborate with Inventory Control and Production teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Pick pack and prepare products for outbound shipments.
- Transport materials and finished goods between departments using hand trucks forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain organized finished goods inventory and storage areas.
- Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to move products and materials throughout the facility.
- Follow all company safety quality and operating procedures.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse organization and inventory management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an MRP/ERP environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in picking packing shipping receiving and inventory control.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately complete inventory and system transactions.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Forklift certification preferred (training provided if needed).
- Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping software.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Team-oriented with a proactive work ethic.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.

- Frequently required to stand walk hear and use hands for handling feeling and manipulating objects.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms lift lower push and pull materials.
- Frequently lift move push and/or pull up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally lift move push and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must possess the visual abilities necessary to perform job duties including close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Vision correction is permitted when it meets all applicable safety requirements.
