Position : Material Handler

Location : San Jose CA

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Start Time : 9:00 AM

End Time : 6:00 PM

Total Hours/week : 40.00

Pay Rate: 16 - 20$/hr

Description:

Able to work overtime as needed including Saturdays (Weekends). Shift flexibility.

Steel toe required. Will be operating pallet jacks stand up forklifts.

Experience is preferred and they will certified and trained. Some lifting at least 25lbs more on occasion.

Preferred exp:

• SAP (if not must have some computer literacy able to catch on quick)
• Forklift (stand up)
• Cycle Counting Inventory Control

Required:

• Must have high attention to detail
• Good communication
• Counting accuracy
• Able to hustle and need production needs with locating and pulling parts
• Will be pushing bins reaching and bending.
• Must be able to meet the Physical aspects and move quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Works on tasks that are complex in nature with minimal supervision.
• Process inbound deliveries into stock including check deliveries of materials and equipment for overage short or damage; delivers materials to ordering departments; assists with materials inspection and quarantine as required by current SOPs.
• Maintains consumable supply inventory; conducts daily cycle count.. Deliver materials to ordering departments from in-house stock requests or from purchase order receiving.
• Maintains warehouse/receiving area in a clean and safe manner.
• Maintains daily record of incoming put always and in-house deliveries.
• Will operate a forklift and company truck.
• Participates in all required workplace safety meetings and remains current in knowledge of SOPs relating to health and safety.
