Material Handler

The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Material Handler. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic growing cross-functional and geographically distributed team responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This position is located on-site at our Orlando Florida office.

Responsibilities:

• Supports and assists activities within a warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.

• Primarily responsible for the manual movement monitoring and issuing of materials through picking / pulling items to fill pick lists and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production / Material Planners.

• Additionally responsible for the storage distribution inventory management and records maintenance of material items.

• Perform required cycle counts of material and maintains records as required to monitor and support inventory accuracy.

• Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be moved.

• Load unload and move materials within or near warehouse stockroom storage facility or manufacturing floor.

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets trays racks and shelves by hand.

• Provide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck electric dolly forklift or other tool.

• Count weigh and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system.

• Support /complete monthly quarterly yearly inventory audits.

• Able to spend considerable time standing bending and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildings.

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task daily workload Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook etc.)

Qualifications:

Required:

• US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the work.

• Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process.

• Valid Drivers License required

Desired:

• Experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor.

• Active SECRET security clearance.

• Bachelors degree.

• Experience using Costpoint.

• Class A CDL.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask daily work.

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook etc.).
