Summary:

Responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving stocking delivery and shipment of addition the material handler is responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (receiving stocking delivering and shipping) in assigned operations facility.

Essential Duties:

  • Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned areas to maintain inventory levels for production
  • Ability to accurately verify parts and quantities and complete BOLs to receive and/or ship material
  • Operate all material handling equipment (stand-up sit-down combi lancer tugger) in assigned operations facility
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures rules and proper 5S standards
  • Use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment
  • Utilize computer equipment to interact with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to record inventory transactions as they are completed
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to become forklift certified
  • Good computer math and reading skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes
  • Capable of making accurate decisions under set guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of applicable position experience
  • Experience using warehouse technology or electronics
