Job Summary

Ø Service the company with all required tow motor duties as requested requiring getting on an off the tow motor approximately 200 times per shift; bending stooping reaching and lifting frequently. Containers average approximately 35 pounds; heavier objects are occasionally handled with assistance as needed

Ø Use a pallet jack moving loads weighing typicallypounds

Ø Dump all chip hoppers in a timely fashion

Ø When assigned pull shop production samples for inspection per sampling tables and written instructions

Ø Assist with physical inventory as assigned

Ø Perform all material handling duties between the shop and the warehouse i.e. moving parts back and forth between buildings and moving / stacking parts in the warehouse

Ø Load and unload all incoming and outgoing freight

Ø Prepare all outgoing freight for shipment using strapping and / or shrink wrapping and semi-automatic shrink wrap machine

Ø Perform all required recordkeeping duties associated with incoming and outgoing freight and in-house material handling

Ø Perform winter maintenance (snow removal salting etc.) as needed to maintain safe driving conditions between warehouse and shop

Ø When assigned weigh count or package parts using a mesh grate and/or counting scale

Ø Lift pails or boxes of product from the floor or racking to the work tables or material handling equipment 45 pounds frequently 75 pounds occasionally

Ø Follow all company safety requirements

Ø Maintain a valid tow motor driver license

Ø Any other assigned task as requested by the supervisor within the training level and physical capabilities of the employee
