Recruiting on behalf of: A confidential behavioral health client of The MH Group
The MH Group is seeking Master’s-Level Clinicians licensed or license-eligible to join a client’s collaborative behavioral health team in Springfield and Holyoke. The team provides evidence-based treatment and recovery services to adults with substance use disorders co-occurring mental health conditions and other complex needs.
In this role you will work alongside physicians nurses care navigators and community partners. You will deliver person-centered trauma-informed care that helps clients move toward recovery and long-term wellness. If you are license-eligible you will receive the clinical supervision and support you need to reach full licensure.
- Assess: Conduct biopsychosocial assessments intake evaluations risk assessments and clinical formulations.
- Plan: Develop individualized goal-oriented treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practice.
- Treat: Provide individual family and group counseling for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
- Respond: Complete crisis evaluations and put appropriate safety interventions in place.
- Coordinate: Partner with the medical team care navigators and community providers. With authorization involve family members and caregivers in treatment planning.
- Connect: Link clients with community resources that support recovery and stability.
- Document: Complete assessments treatment plans progress notes referrals and outcome measures accurately and on time.
- Grow: Participate in clinical supervision team meetings and ongoing training.
- Flex: Provide services across both locations or by telehealth as program needs require.
- Comply: Follow HIPAA 42 CFR Part 2 and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Required
- Master’s degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
- Massachusetts clinical licensure (LMHC LICSW LADC I or equivalent) or eligibility for licensure with active progress toward it
- Strong skills in assessment counseling crisis intervention and clinical documentation
- Clear professional communication both written and verbal
- Commitment to cultural humility and trauma-informed care with diverse populations
- Working knowledge of community resources and referral coordination
Preferred
- Two or more years of experience in mental health behavioral health or substance use treatment
- Experience with co-occurring disorders. Clinicians eager to build this expertise are encouraged to apply.
