Massage Therapist Part Time

The Spa at Fearrington is seeking a skilled warm and service-oriented part-time Massage Therapist to join our team. This position is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about wellness attentive to individual guest needs and committed to providing an exceptional spa experience.

Our Massage Therapists deliver thoughtful personalized treatments in a peaceful and welcoming environment while maintaining the high standards of care and hospitality for which Fearrington Village is known.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage and body treatments tailored to each guests needs and preferences

• Consult with guests before treatments to identify concerns contraindications and desired outcomes

• Maintain a calm welcoming and professional treatment environment

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they remain clean organized and fully stocked

• Follow all sanitation safety and spa protocols

• Maintain accurate guest treatment notes and protect guest confidentiality

• Educate guests about appropriate aftercare wellness practices and relevant spa products or services

• Communicate effectively with spa reception and fellow team members to ensure a seamless guest experience

• Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled appointments meetings and training sessions

• Assist with light departmental duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina massage and bodywork therapy license in good standing

• Professional liability insurance

• Previous experience in a luxury spa resort or hospitality environment is preferred

• Knowledge of multiple massage modalities and the ability to customize treatments

• Warm polished and professional demeanor

• Excellent communication and guest-service skills

• Dependable organized and attentive to detail

• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and guest confidentiality

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of massage therapy

Schedule

This is a part-time position. Weekend availability is required including Friday Saturday and Sundays. Availability on holidays and during peak seasonal periods is strongly preferred.
