Job Summary
Working hours will be 2pm -10:30pm
There will be a 10% shift differential
- Masks or unmasks various products and parts for painting or selective plating.
- Interprets blueprints work instructions both written and verbal instructions to determine the most effective procedures for masking various products.
- Uses masking tape paint various types of wax and protective devices to selectively mask off certain sections of parts and/or units that are to be painted or plated.
- Uses various hand tools such as: punches scissors brushes knives or razor blades to cut and remove tape.
- Position protective coatings on parts or units in accordance with instructions.
- Removes tape wax paint and other protective coatings after selective painting or plating process has been completed.
- Touches up paint damaged parts using a brush.
- Adheres to all processing specifications necessary to achieve blueprint requirements and quality of the hardware.
- Demonstrates excellent safety practices and habits to assure all rules are obeyed and implemented.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Performs other related duties as required.
