Job Summary
Summary: By reading blueprints or drawings tape masks the area of the metal part that does not get painted.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for masking off various parts with materials such as tape cardboard or a large variety of plugs which need to be paint free in that area.
- Removing tape cardboard or plugs once the paint process is complete.
- Responsible for understanding the work specifications and care and process quality.
Qualifications :
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
