Capri Communities Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager plays a key role in the execution and coordination of Capris marketing initiatives serving as the central point of contact for project management website oversight content development advertising digital marketing and vendor coordination. This position partners closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure marketing efforts are strategically aligned efficiently executed and consistently reflective of the Capri brand while supporting occupancy engagement and business growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with creativity attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences that advance Capris mission and enhance the lives of older adults. This individual will report to the Vice President of Marketing and work closely with the creative design team. This is a corporate HQ position and for the near term should be considered a fully in-office position.

Capri Communities is comprised of 43 managed locations in Southern Wisconsin including 20 traditional senior living communities. We also own and/or manage affordable senior living and affordable disabled housing properties along with various other affiliated interests.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Workflow Management

  • Serves as the primary coordinator for marketing project intake managing daily requests through Microsoft Planner/Trello and ensuring all submissions are complete accurately categorized and assigned appropriate deadlines.
  • Oversees project workflows and team priorities ensuring marketing initiatives progress efficiently and on schedule.
  • Provides weekly updates to VP of Marketing on project status upcoming deadlines and workload priorities facilitating discussions to ensure deliverables are completed on time.

Website Management

  • Partners with the VP of Marketing to maintain and continuously enhance the Capri website ensuring an exceptional user experience and strong brand alignment.
  • Plays a key role in the development and implementation of Capris website redesign initiative leveraging emerging technologies and AI-driven capabilities to improve user engagement and site performance.
  • Manages website updates including event banners promotional tiles and content updates aligned with the marketing content calendar using the WordPress platform.
  • Develops and deploys landing pages to support community events and targeted marketing campaigns coordinating implementation with the marketing agency and creative team.
  • Collaborates closely with external agency partners to ensure the website reflects Capris brand standards visual identity and Enjoy Life philosophy.

Website Content & SEO

  • Partners with the marketing agency to improve search engine optimization (SEO) through strategic content development keyword implementation and metadata optimization.
  • Writes and edits compelling website content that supports brand messaging user engagement and lead generation goals.

Print Advertising & Media Coordination

  • Manages relationships with print publications and media partners while overseeing advertising schedules and deadlines.
  • Coordinates the creation placement and timely delivery of print advertisements to ensure consistent brand representation.
  • Identifies and communicates new advertising opportunities to internal stakeholders in a proactive and timely manner.

Direct Mail Management

  • Oversees direct mail campaigns from planning through execution partnering with vendors to secure favorable pricing and efficient production timelines.
  • Coordinates campaign participation with communities to ensure materials are developed approved and distributed on schedule.
  • Tracks and reports campaign performance and outcomes following completion.

Awards & Recognition Programs

  • Manages company participation in regional and national awards programs including Best Of and Top Choice recognitions.
  • Coordinates award-related marketing collateral and ensures timely updates to website social media and other marketing channels.

Signage Management

  • Coordinates community signage projects from concept through installation.
  • Works with vendors and the creative team to ensure signage projects are completed on time within budget and consistent with brand standards.
  • Maintains vendor relationships and negotiates competitive pricing when possible.

Photography & Visual Asset Management

  • Oversees the organization management and utilization of photography assets across digital and print channels.
  • Coordinates professional photo shoots and works with communities to maintain fresh high-quality visual content.
  • Manages community photo galleries and ensures imagery reflects current brand standards and lifestyle experiences.

Paid Media & PPC Coordination

  • Collaborates with the VP of Marketing and agency partners to develop paid media strategies and create effective ad copy.
  • Monitors campaign performance and provides insights and recommendations to improve results across PPC and digital advertising initiatives.

Blog & Content Marketing

  • Develops the annual blog content calendar in partnership with the Director of Lifestyle Enrichment and SVP of Sales & Marketing.
  • Collaborates with agency partners to ensure blog content supports SEO objectives and aligns with brand messaging.

Online Reputation Management

  • Monitors online review performance and reputation metrics across community locations.
  • Partners with sales specialists and community leaders to support review generation efforts and respond to emerging trends or concerns.
  • Provides regular reporting and recommendations to strengthen Capris online presence and credibility.

Marketing Inventory & Asset Management

  • Manages corporate marketing inventory community bill-back processes and related monthly reporting in partnership with the Finance team.
  • Maintains organized storage and stewardship of marketing materials displays and event assets.
  • Coordinates the reservation checkout and return of corporate marketing resources used by communities for events and promotions.

Internal Communications

  • Oversees the production and execution of the companys monthly newsletter The Magpie coordinating content collection development and design with the creative team.
  • Ensures timely publication and distribution while maintaining alignment with brand and communication objectives.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience in a corporate marketing department marketing agency or related environment.

Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and with external partners.

Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing initiatives including website content management SEO PPC email marketing and social media.

Proficiency with WordPress and content management systems with a strong understanding of website user experience best practices.

Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Google Business Profiles and digital marketing performance measurement.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Word PowerPoint Teams and Outlook.

Experience utilizing project management and workflow tools such as Microsoft Planner Trello or similar platforms.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing and sales funnel data evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

Ability to track analyze and report on key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) including lead generation conversion rates website traffic digital advertising performance SEO metrics and social media engagement.

Knowledge of marketing budget management vendor coordination direct mail campaigns advertising placement and marketing ROI analysis.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and adapt to changing business needs.

Strategic and proactive thinker who anticipates needs identifies opportunities and drives continuous improvement.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and business objectives.

Experience managing vendor and agency relationships preferred.

Knowledge of AI-powered marketing tools and emerging digital marketing technologies is preferred.

Experience in healthcare senior living hospitality real estate or consumer-focused marketing environments is a plus but not required.
