Position Summary:
Swagelok offers an immersive 12-week summer internship program that gives interns the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience through meaningful projects and develop both personally and professionally. Over the summeryoullcombine what you learn in the classroom with applied work experience inCommercial.
You will lead impactful projects that are focused on either continuous improvement enhancing qualityoptimizingcost-saving measures or advancing safety measures of our processes and/or products.
You will be challenged to apply and develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed to succeed for years beyondthe internshipexperience.
You will further improve your problem-solving skills and be encouraged to collaborate with other Swagelok associates.
You willparticipatein a variety of activities over the summerincluding:networking learning the business Swagelok associate resource groups facility tours professional development and volunteering in the community.
You will have direct engagement with executives and leading experts in our industry.
You will have an opportunity toparticipatein resume reviews and mock interviews to prepare you for future opportunities at Swagelok.
As aCommercialintern you will have the opportunity to:
Develop professional skills and experience leading small continuous improvement projects
Collaborate with associates and supporting departmental tasks
Work cross-functionallyto execute projectobjectiveswhile gaining knowledge about Swagelok and the Commercial team
Supportone of four functional groups within Commercial including: Product Management Sales Support Strategy & Operations Strategic Sales and Marketing Communications
Work on projects supportingeither products salesanalyticsand strategy initiatives
Education and/orWork Experience Requirements:
Required:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program; minimum of a sophomore year completion in a Bachelors (undergraduate) degree program inMarketing Sales Business Administration or related field
A minimum GPA of 3.0
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to work 10-12 weeksconsecutively during the summer
Open to workingin Solon OHwithout relocation support
Preferred:
Prior internship experience is preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills
