Maritime Planner

Responsibilities:
Synchronizes maritime operations with OIE IW Sensitive Activities and/or Compartmented (e.g. STO SAP and ACCM) planning to ensure information effects are aligned with maritime maneuver and naval objectives
Plans and coordinates employment of maritime capabilities in support of OIE IW and/or Sensitive Activities objectives including presence signaling and deterrence activities
Aligns maritime operations with information forces or capabilities to reinforce desired narratives and influence target audiences
Develops maritime-focused inputs to estimates concepts of operation OPORDs CONPLANs OPLANs annexes appendices and other planning products
Incorporates maritime intelligence indications and warnings and assessment inputs to inform OIE planning and execution
Coordinates with joint interagency and partner stakeholders to ensure unity of effort and deconfliction.
Advises leadership on maritime information risks opportunities and second-order effects
Ensures maritime planning considerations comply with applicable legal policy and rules of engagement requirements
Develop measures of performance and effectiveness to assess maritime contributions to OIE. IW and/or Sensitive Activities outcomes
Produces and delivers decision-quality maritime planning products assessments and briefs
Ensure adherence to information protection compartmentation access control and security requirements throughout planning and execution
Coordinates with Intelligence Community DoD interagency allied partner and industry stakeholders to ensure de-confliction unity of effort oversight compliance and capability alignment
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility and willingness to submit to polygraph
Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study
5 years of experience planning coordinating and synchronizing maritime activities with IW OIE Sensitive Activities and/or compartmented military or IC activities (e.g. IJISTO SAP ACCM etc.).
3 years of experience working in a J3X J39 J2X STO/SAP planning cell Joint Targeting cell or similar organization
7 years of success in working within military planning processes including Joint Planning Process (JPP) military decision-making process joint targeting process and/or military campaign planning
Demonstrated experience briefing or delivering written operational concepts to executive/senior-level (GO/FO/SES) decision makers
Desired:
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Knowledgeable in intelligence disciplines capabilities limitations and platforms and relevant Intelligence Community Directives
7 years of experience coordinating compartmented or sensitive operational activity with the IC Interagency Allies and/or Partners
Graduate of one or more of the following: Joint Professional Military Education Phase 1 and 2 Joint Advanced Warfighting School Maritime Advanced Warfighting School School of Advanced Warfighting School of Advanced Military Studies Maritime Operational Planners Course STO Planners Course Advanced Special Operations Managers Course MILDEC Planners Course

Pay Range:
