Job Summary
The Marching Band Drum Tech supports the percussion program by providing instruction and assistance to the marching battery throughout the season. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with battery rehearsals sectionals and full ensemble rehearsals.
- Reinforce technique timing sound quality and musical consistency.
- Help students learn and refine the marching percussion book.
- Provide individual and small-group instruction as needed.
- Assist percussion staff with rehearsal and performance preparation.
- Attend scheduled rehearsals performances and competitions as assigned.
- Maintain a positive professional and student-centered approach consistent with the expectations of the Bixby Bands program.
