This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting training initiatives for production and material handling employees. Youll work on real-world projects involving instructional design process documentation video development and AI-driven training solutions while learning how employee development contributes to a safe efficient and high-performing manufacturing environment.

As a Manufacturing Training Intern you will work alongside production employees engineers and operational leaders to develop and improve training resources that support workforce development and manufacturing excellence. You will gain exposure to manufacturing processes while helping create engaging and effective learning experiences for employees across the site.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support the creation and implementation of training programs for production and material handling employees.
• Develop and update Job Instructions standard work documentation and training materials.
• Create training videos and visual learning tools to support onboarding and employee development.
• Collaborate with production employees and subject matter experts to document processes and best practices.
• Research evaluate and help implement AI tools that improve training effectiveness and knowledge retention.
• Assist with training-related continuous improvement projects and process enhancements.
• Support the organization and maintenance of training documentation and employee training records.
• Present project findings recommendations and outcomes to site leadership when applicable.

We are looking for students who are currently pursuing a bachelors degree in:

• Computer Science
• Industrial Engineering

• Strong interest in technology manufacturing training and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize information and create clear easy-to-follow training materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently while managing project responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in AI tools digital learning technologies and process improvement.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Sophomore standing or higher at the time of application.
• Ability to arrange your own housing and transportation.

• Hands-on experience in a global biotechnology company.
• Exposure to manufacturing operations and workforce development initiatives.

• Full-time internship assignment lasting approximately 10 weeks.
• Located on-site at our New Berlin WI location.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the production floor including safety shoes hairnets and in some cases a respirator.
• Regular exposure to production and material handling operations while collaborating with employees on the manufacturing floor.

Expected salary: $23/hr

Program Dates: May 24 2027 to July 30 2027

Position Type: Temporary position payrolled through a third-party provider
