Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our Norfolk VA team. The manufacturing technician will repair and overhaul circuit breakers sub-assemblies and related electrical equipment and perform evaluations maintenance and repairs on circuit breakers to ensure optimal performance.

Essential Functions:

• Replace or repair faulty components such as contacts coils and insulation.

• Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized equipment toidentifyissues with circuit breakers and electrical systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problemsandnon-conformances.

• Perform current injection insulation resistance testing contact resistance testing and other relevant tests to verify the integrity of circuit breakers.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards codes and regulations.

• Maintainaccuraterecords ofevaluationand repair activities including test results and inspections.

• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments.

• Assistin the development and implementation of procedures andwork instructions.

• Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
• Make recommendations for solutions.

Qualifications:

• Requires highly developed job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associates degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Strong communicationskills both verbally and written.

• Able to use MS Office (Excel Word Etc.)

• Must have a positive attitude self-motivated with the ability to handle and complete multiple tasks within defined time limitations.

• Work with other departments as needed in a professional manner.

The salary range for this role in Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is $.
