Manufacturing Supervisor Night Shift

Position Overview

Shaw Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to serve as a leader in Plant WMs production department in order to support day-to-day extrusion operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting plant operations through process improvement initiatives
• Lead daily direction setting meetings and set goals for the shift.
• Troubleshooting processing issues
• Provide technical assistance to team
• Ensure all teammates and environment are in safe working order
• Driving efficiency and IPH improvement as well as waste reduction efforts
• Investigating and addressing off-quality product issues/ complaints quickly
• Monitoring shift/department performance
• Participating in daily kaizen
• Implementing lean manufacturing initiatives
• Manage teammates time effectively (Workforce Staffing Sheets Etc.)

Qualifications:

• Prior leadership experience
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Strong communication interpersonal analytical and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma/GED. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
