Manufacturing Production Supervisor III

• Location:4301 Forest St Denver CO 80216
• 1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm
• 2nd Shift 2pm to10:30pm
• 3rd Shift 10pm to 6:30 am
• please note which shift your candidate is interested in.
• Days of the week are TBD as management is currently developing a schedule.
• Associates may be required to work weekends potentially at least one day each weekend.
• Is there a possibility this assignment will be extended Yes

• Candidates will have a panel interview.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.
• Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  Develop monitor and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans both short and long term.
• Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
• Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
• Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust teamwork quality and safety.
• Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory
• compliance as appropriate (OSHA EPA FDA USDA HACCP Etc.)

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
• 1 of more years experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong leadership background ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce
• Ability to manage and develop employees
• Availability willingness to work hours and holidays
• Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
