Manufacturing Production Intern

The Operations Intern will support daily manufacturing and operational activities while gaining hands-on experience in production processes team leadership continuous improvement methodologies and supply chain functions. This role offers exposure to cross-functional operations including planning and shipping/receiving and provides opportunities to contribute to impactful projects that improve efficiency quality and productivity.

Expected Duration: May - August

• Support day-to-day production activities to ensure safety quality delivery and costobjectivesare met

• Monitor workflowsidentifyinefficiencies and escalate or help resolve operational issues

• Maintainaccurateproduction data reports and performance metrics;participatein dailytiermeetings andvalue streamupdates

• Collaboratewith supervisors and team leads to support staffing communication and overall team effectiveness

• Participate in Lean initiatives such as 5S waste reduction and standard work development; support audits and sustainment activities

• Assistwith and gain exposure to production planning scheduling and material coordination

• Support inventory management material movement and shipping/receiving activities

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $19-20 based on academic school year.
