Summary:
-
Integrates across engineering disciplines to drive producibility requirements into aircraft electrical systems design using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).

Engages in implementation of technical solutions into build plan to ensure production safety stability and product reliability.

Analyzes and improves design or build concepts to evaluate producible product definition using DFMA.

Collects and analyzes production data to identify anomalies and investigate root causes for quality or efficiency issues.

Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems during production to ensure product integrity and minimize impact on performance cost or schedule.

Leads complex integration of aircraft mechanical and electrical systems into build plan for efficient and repeatable systems installation.

Coordinates with production and design engineers across commodities to integrate electrical systems with interfacing airplane components (structures interiors).

Drives requirements for tooling and equipment to install and test electrical components more efficiently and ergonomically.

Applies technical knowledge to innovate design and develop manufacturing and assembly processes tooling assembly fixtures and procedures.

Develops and implements process improvements using Lean production methodologies.
Requirements:
-
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

2 or more years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent directly related to work statement.

Preferred: Experience working in an engineering discipline.

Preferred: Experience working in a production environment.
