Job Summary
Kalogon a smart seating startup based in Melbourne seeks a Manufacturing Operator to help us build cutting-edge medical equipment using 3D printers.
As our Manufacturing Operator you will be responsible for owning the entire process of 3D printing and processing custom-made medical equipment for individuals who use wheelchairs.
Hours:
- 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday - Friday
- Run a bank of resin and FDM 3D printers staging jobs starting prints and harvesting finished parts to keep machines producing through the shift.
- Post-process printed parts: support removal washing curing cleanup and finishing to established standards.
- Perform first-pass inspection on every part catching print defects (layer shift warping incomplete cure poor bed adhesion) before they reach Quality Control.
- Diagnose issues on the floor and implement practical fixes.
- Contribute ideas to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
- Collaborate with R&D on prototypes and pilot builds.
- Strong mechanical aptitude you pick up new tools and processes quickly
- Problem-solver who thinks on their feet
- Background in manufacturing fabrication machining or a maker/technical environment is a plus
- Background in 3D-modeling or CAM is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Probationary period: 3 months
- PTO: 20 days per year (pro-ratedbased on hire date) then one day added per year of service up to 25 days
- Holidays: 5 all-team holidays 3 floating holidays (pro-rated based on hire date)
