Summary
âDirects and coordinates manufacturing activities by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors or staff. Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees. Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules. Managing production schedules for customer delivery requirements and utilize the companyâs productive capacity as well as managing inventory levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
âEnsure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
âCheck production output according to specifications.
âSubmit reports on performance and progress.
âCoordinates and monitors manufacturing projects from initiation through delivery.
âIdentifies and allocates project resources.
âServes as liaison between manufacturing and non-manufacturing departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
âActs on order releases action and exception messages from the company system.
âInterfaces with manufacturing personnel the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
âEnsures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
âResolves issues and contributes to the business unit/area development.
âMonitors and maintains department productivity and budgets.
âManages the work efforts of supervisors/individual contributors.
âDisplays broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills.

Education and/or Experience
âAssociates degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills

âAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community. .
âAbility to effectively present information to top management public groups and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
âAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
âAbility to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
âAbility to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
âAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
âProficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)
