The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations within Medtronics Value Added Assembly (VAA) environment helping ensure equipment reliability process continuity and production performance. This role partners with production engineering and operations teams to maintain and improve automated manufacturing systems and welding equipment used in the production of healthcare technologies.

This position is located in Brooklyn Center Minnesota and is an onsite role supporting the VAA West Room.

The role is aligned to a Weekend 3rd Shift schedule of 40 hours per week: Friday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM Saturday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sunday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Monday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment uptime through troubleshooting preventative maintenance equipment repair and continuous improvement activities. This position supports automated manufacturing equipment and welding systems in a controlled manufacturing environment and serves as a key technical resource during off-shift operations. The successful candidate will work independently respond to equipment downtime events and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues that impact operational performance. This role supports a Weekend 3rd Shift schedule with the greatest business need occurring during the extended Saturday and Sunday coverage periods.

• Requires 3 years of relevant technical experience which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training education or certification.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$59200.00 - $88800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
