Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Onsite Manufacturing Environment
Lancaster PA
Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in fast-paced production environments Were looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead engineering initiatives while overseeing plant operations across CNC machining welding assembly and material handling.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence developing manufacturing processes leading approximately 15 production employees and ensuring safety quality delivery and cost objectives are achieved.
What Youll Do
Lead Manufacturing Operations
Direct daily operations across CNC machining welding assembly and material handling
Manage and develop a team of approximately 20 manufacturing employees
Drive productivity workflow improvements employee engagement and operational performance
Partner with leadership to establish production goals and execution strategies
Engineering & Process Improvement
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for welding machining and assembly
Maintain and improve tooling fixtures equipment software and production systems
Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives
Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety quality efficiency and cost reduction
CNC & Welding Oversight
Review machining programs tooling setups and manufacturing methods
Optimize CNC operations to improve throughput and part quality
Troubleshoot welding and fabrication challenges and implement corrective actions
Support advanced manufacturing technologies and process innovation
Quality & Safety Leadership
Ensure products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements
Collaborate with quality teams on inspections corrective actions and compliance initiatives
Foster a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement
Drive adherence to quality standards manufacturing procedures and safety regulations
What Were Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field
5 years of manufacturing engineering management and a proven track record of leadership.
Experience managing production teams in a machining fabrication welding or industrial manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC machining welding processes assembly operations and manufacturing best practices
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Proficiency with CAD systems CNC programming ERP systems and manufacturing software
Strong problem-solving communication and team leadership skills
Must be a US Citizen and able to gain security Clearances
