Our Landing Systems Business Unit headquartered in Troy Ohio designs tests and manufactures a wide range of fully integrated landing systems. Our innovative solutions include lighter-weight high-strength materials; more electric technologies; DURACARB carbon friction material; EDL extended life configurations; and innovative aircraft gear wheel and brake design.

What You Will Do:

• Assure processes equipment fixture design routings programming tooling and standard work in support of production requirements. Plant processes include: Assembly Processes for Aircraft Brakes and Wheels Machining Anodize Chemical Etch Aluminum Conversion Coating Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection Waste Water Treatment and Shot Peen.
• Continuously improve quality and productivity using the CORE Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes.
• Identify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings and expense account budgets.
• Support activities related to compliance audits including AS9100 NADCAP etc.
• Support Project and Contractor Management

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelors or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience delivering presentations using data visualization tools to communicate production metrics or project updates to cross-functional teams or leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 60 completed hours of credit by the start of the co-op.

Experience may be obtained through onthejob experience research coursework or projects.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
