Job Summary

Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Support and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Troubleshoot issues within the manufacturing facility using root cause analysis tools to identify the source and provide corrective solutions
  • Collaborate within the team and across departments on projects from inception to completion.
  • Design Tooling Jigs Fixtures and Facilities Equipment utilizing SolidWorks.
  • Identify and Facilitate Implementation of process improvements.
  • Determine specifications and initiate the purchase of materials and components
  • Develop Best Practices and Procedures; communicate these to employees through Visual Workplace Formal Training and Area meetings.
  • Coordinate and communicate with all levels of the organization (formal and informal presentations).

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in engineering or a closely related field
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Interest in manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in Agricultural Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Industrial Technology Aerospace Engineering or similar field of study.
  • Junior or Senior Class standing
  • Hands-on manufacturing experience from a previous job or internship or a project-based academic assignment
  • CAD Experience preferably SolidWorks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
