Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in La Crosse WI for our weekend shift (Fri-Sun 6am-6pm and occasional Mondays 9-1pm). In this role you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop coordinate and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality safety and operational efficiency improvements.

What you will do:

• Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems including investigations statistical studies and corrective action planning.
• Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes equipment and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
• Design manufacturing flow lines workstation layouts and station controls that optimize efficiency operating costs and product quality.
• Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability process maps set-ups quality controls tooling and fixture records routings and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions job breakdowns and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
• Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
• Partner with on-site EHS (Environment Health and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

What you will bring:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PFMEA experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.
• Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
• Growth mindset desire to expand technical skillset.
• Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus.
• Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply;we prioritize practical experience relevant skills and alignment with our leadership principles.
