Manufacturing Engineer

Support manufacturing of fiber glass pipe.

• Design develop and improve manufacturing processes work instructions and production methods.
• Analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency reduced waste and improved quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing documentation.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities including process validation and production readiness.
• Design or specify tooling fixtures and manufacturing equipment to improve productivity and repeatability.
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to resolve nonconformances and improve process capability.
• Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Support capital equipment selection installation commissioning and validation.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel.
• Participate in cost reduction initiatives through process optimization material savings and cycle time improvements.

• Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 25 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining fabrication welding assembly or automation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
