Manufacturing Engineer

In this role you will work as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment processes methods fixtures tooling and automation. You will work closely with Operations Product Engineering Quality Maintenance and Warehouse teams to improve safety quality delivery cost and productivity. Responsibilities will include supporting manufacturing projects developing equipment and tooling specifications performing time studies creating and modifying routings assisting with root-cause analysis and identifying opportunities for waste reduction and process improvement.

This is a CONTRACT-TO-POSSIBLE-PERMrole that is a long-term need for my client. This position must be worked ON-SITE.

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Industrial Distribution & Logistics Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• 3-5 years of related experience

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including flow layouts assembly machining and tooling

• Strong problem-solving communication organizational and project-management skills

• Experience with AutoCAD

• Lean manufacturing mindset with a focus on safety quality and continuous improvement
