Primary Duties/Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience programming CNC vertical machining centers (3 4 and 5 axis)
- Proven experience programming multi-axis CNC lathes and Swiss-style lathes
- Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code and CAM software (e.g. Mastercam Fusion 360 Esprit or similar)
- Solid understanding of speeds feeds tooling selection and workholding for a variety of materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints GD&T and engineering specifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience conducting first article inspections and using precision measurement tools (calipers micrometers CMM etc.)
- Experience programming and integrating 6 axis robots for machine systems or tending
- Strong tool selection knowledge and ability to work with tooling vendors
