Manufacturing Engineer II

You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with Production Associates Engineering Technicians and other Manufacturing Engineers as well as leadership and other key stakeholders.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams.

• Gain an understanding of the daily challenges on the production floor.

• Support specific Product Groups in meeting their goals.

• Identify and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) and LEAN concepts.

• Use Engineering principles and CI tools to establish current state and develop future state plans.

• Maintain a future state roadmap for capital project proposals.

• Support projects and equipment acquisition.
• Exhibit knowledge of layout planning work procedures cost impacts crewing guidelines and takt time impact for support initiatives.

• BS degree in Engineering preferably Industrial Manufacturing or Mechanical

• 3-5 years Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience

• A proven ability to communicate well with others and ask insightful questions

• Ability to use or learn AutoCAD and Inventor

• Ability to participate on and lead cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of manufacturing principals procedures and technology

• Ability and willingness to mentor others in the use of Engineering principals

• Project Management experience
