Job Description
- Support manufacturing operations through process equipment and facility improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety quality productivity and efficiency.
- Analyze manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes work instructions and engineering documentation.
- Evaluate specify and implement production tooling and equipment.
- Support capital projects new product introductions and capacity expansion efforts.
- Collaborate with Quality Operations Maintenance and Engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for manufacturing investments and process changes.
- Optimize facility layouts workflow and space utilization.
- Provide hands-on manufacturing floor support to validate processes and drive successful implementation of improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
- 2 years of manufacturing engineering or related industry experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Experience supporting process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing process or equipment-related issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Desired Experience
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CAD software such as Creo and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and Quality Management Systems.
- Project management experience.
- PMP certification or equivalent project leadership experience.
- Lean Certification such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Experience supporting new product introduction programs.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment specification acquisition and implementation.

Salary Range $65000- $80000/year commensurate with experience
