About the Job You Are Considering

As aManufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for improving manufacturing and assembly operations by identifying process issues understanding their business impacts and implementing effective solutions. You will work closely with production quality and operations teams to optimize manufacturing processes accelerate deliveries reduce missing parts quickly resolve quality issues and sustain long-term performance improvements. This role is critical in driving operational excellence productivity and continuous improvement across the manufacturing environment.

Your Role
  • Identify manufacturing process issues evaluate business impacts and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Solve production and operational problems to improve quality productivity efficiency and delivery performance.
  • Accelerate deliveries by optimizing manufacturing workflows reducing bottlenecks and minimizing missing parts.
  • Quickly identify analyze and resolve quality issues through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Sustain improvements and operational performance through standardization monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop participate in maintain and continuously improve the Manufacturing Engineering strategy to support business objectives.
  • Actively participate in planning and sequencing production activities for assembly positions to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze production requirements and balance manpower according to organizational needs and production demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define work standards balance workloads and configure manufacturing cells assembly positions and production lines to accommodate changes in production rates and customer demand.
  • Conduct observations time studies and measurements to evaluate value-added and non-value-added activities and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure manufacturing productivity efficiency quality and overall operational performance.
  • Identify recommend and lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity enhancement waste reduction cost optimization and operational excellence.
  • Lead and participate in Kaizen workshops to identify root causes resolve manufacturing challenges and implement sustainable solutions while engaging stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the production environment.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering production engineering assembly operations or continuous improvement environments.
  • Strong ability to identify manufacturing issues assess business impacts and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven experience in problem-solving root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Kaizen Six Sigma Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with line balancing manpower planning capacity analysis and production flow optimization.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes assembly operations work instructions and production planning.
  • Experience conducting time studies process analysis and work measurement activities.
  • Ability to develop and monitor KPIs to drive operational performance and manufacturing excellence.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and facilitating Kaizen events.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities and driving sustainable operational results.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $68911 - $150350 / year.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national state provincial and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini in good faith believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include but are not limited to: Geographic location Education and qualifications Certifications and licenses Relevant experience and skills Seniority and performance Market and business consideration Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives bonuses or commissions depending on the position and applicable laws.
